Accountancy Services

Self Employed. For those working on their own, I can put together accounts from invoices, bills and bank statements. These are then put into a form that can be submitted to HMRC, and I can file the self-assessment tax return online. For businesses that are VAT registered I can file returns online as part of the accountancy service.

Small businesses. For those who have several employees, I can construct accounts from invoices, bills and bank statements. Unincorporated businesses file a self-assessment tax return which my associates can put together and I will then file it online with HMRC. We offer a tax planning service for those with several incomes. For businesses that are VAT registered I can file returns online as part of the accountancy service.

Incorporated businesses. Companies with limited liability status must file a corporation tax return and annual accounts must be submitted to Companies House. These must be in statutory format. I can do all the accountancy from invoices, bills and bank statements to Trial Balance, and one of my associates will review the accounts and put them into the correct format for submission to the authorities. If directors have other incomes my associates and I can offer a tax planning service to ensure that the best use is made of allowances. I can also file the annual return (not to be confused with the annual accounts) online with Companies house. For businesses that are VAT registered I can file returns online as part of the accountancy service. We do not offer accountancy services for companies requiring an audit - normally those with a turnover in excess of £6.5 million or where it is a shareholder requirement. However, I can recommend an accountancy firm who can do this type of work.

Businesses with Employees. For firms with employees I offer a payroll service. If I am doing your bookkeeping, this forms part of the data entry so that there is no duplication of effort. I am, however, quite happy to enter data from clients’ existing payroll bureau. An associate company can advise on Human Resources management, and set up all the systems required by law.
